Hey folks!

Today we released our brand-new video for A Born Again Christian Upon Reading The Da Vinci Code, animated by our friend Doug MacDonald. Already the video is generating a wide variety of reactions. Because some folks are uncomfortable expressing negative sentiments about bands they like in public settings, I've decided to create this anonymous poll so that you can tell us what you REALLY think about the video! We respect everyone's opinion, and we'd love to get a sense of what people think about this thought-provoking video.

Winter Hibernation Almost Complete!

Hello Friends of Bears!

We're happy to report that spring is springing and we're almost ready to come out of winter hibernation! What an exciting time this must be for anyone who's been wondering what the hell we've been up to the past few months! Mostly we've been sleeping. Thankfully we're able to plot secret plans while we're sleeping, and we're about to reveal the fruits of our labor!

First off, we'll be playing at RagnaWrock 2011 on Saturday, March 19, in Hellertown PA! This event is a festival featuring many wizard rock bands and side projects of other wizard rock bands. It's being organized by our pal DJ Luna Lovegood, and we seriously can't wait for the opportunity to let loose and party with friends! There are 11 bands playing and the show is only $10 if you purchase your ticket in advance! Amazing!

Our other secret plan is actually a secret. It's no secret that we've been slacking off with our YouTube channel since last summer. We haven't posted a video in roughly eight months, so we feel that our return to YouTube should be something special. Well... IT WILL BE! We'll be releasing a brand new music video some time in late March or early April, and it's going to blow your mind. We can't say much else about it at this time, but we encourage you to get pumped and stay tuned for updates!

Fall Tour Begins Tomorrow!

Hello Friends of Bears!

We're so very excited to begin our first official tour TOMORROW, October 14, in New York City! Yeah, it's cool that we'll be playing with ourselves (wait... umm...) and Justin Finch-Fletchley, but we'll also have the honor of sharing the stage with Swish and Flick! We're pumped!

We've added a few shows since our last tour calendar update. Head over to our Tour Page for all the relevant details! We still have two more TBA dates to fill: Little Rock AR and Columbus OH. Matt's been working like a bear in a honey tree to book those dates, and we should be able to post details very soon!

Mostly we're just excited to be a real band now. We're still kinda pissed at ROFLCOPTOUR for leaving us off the official bill this summer. I believe it is because we are bears, not humans, and humans believe they are superior to bears! WTF?! If you've ever been to Bear Kingdom, or Northern Bear Island, or Svalbard, or even Bearcub City, you'd know the glory that is bearkind. But you haven't. So stop pretending you know what we're all about! Agh!
